We exist to assist families and individuals with developmental disabilities by providing support, information and advocacy. Our goal is to help build a community that includes and values people with disabilities. For over 50 years our programs and efforts have been focused on improving the awareness and quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

In 1954 the Arc of Livingston* was established by a group of parents from Livingston County who were seeking alternatives other than state institutions to provide support for their children with developmental disabilities.
