About the Changing Transportation for Changing Lives Coalition

The coalition, changing transportation for changing lives, is working to increase the level of involvement of the community in the transportation decision-making process. 

Our mission is to increase the awareness of transportation issues among Livingston County residents and policy makers and to work to improve transportation for people who utilize the public transportation system.

Our project goals are:

• More individualized transportation options
• More accessible transportation
• Increase in public transportation hours (At the end April 2003, LETS expanded their hours of service from 6 am- 9 am and 5 pm- 9 pm, Monday through Friday)
• More timely and responsive public transportation
